EXPRESSION OF INTEREST: IMPLEMENTING PARTNERS FOR A NUTRITION FOCUSED PROGRAM IN GHANA AND UGANDA

1. Introduction 

Dear Partner,

CEDO-Uganda in partnership with Canadian Feed the Children and Harvest Plus Uganda will be implementing a five years’ nutrition-focused Programme in Uganda and Ghana. The partnership therefore invites applications from suitably experienced local CSO/CBO/NGO to participate in a two –phased application process.

1. All applicants shall be required to Express Interest and complete a Questionnaire on Eligibility during phase 1 (Refer to attachment 1). This will specifically look at the local context, experience, the need for analysis, and what you want to do, without having to answer extra questions about your finances and governing structure. Selected partners at this stage will be invited to participate in a virtual re-design workshop in the week of 27^th-31^st January 2025. 

2. All selected applicants shall be invited to participate in the Phase 2 Application process, which may entail to avail more details about the applicant organization’s mission, approach, activities, partners, specific banking and budget information, staffing and structure, decision making and governance.

2. Who is Eligible? 

This partnership is targeted to fund innovative projects that deliver measurable results. Therefore eligible recipients will include locally-focused national or sub-national non-governmental, community and not-for-profit organizations including but not limited to: 

• Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) 
• Civil society organizations (CSOs) 
• Networks, collectives, Associations and coalitions 
• Faith-based organizations (must have a no proselytizing policy) 

3. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION

Issuance of this request for EoI does not constitute a commitment on the part of CEDO and its partners nor does it commit the payment for any costs incurred in the submission of the EoI. Furthermore, CEDO and her partners reserve the right to reject any and all submissions, or to partner with any applicant without further discussion or negotiations if it is considered to be in the best interests of the Programme.
