CEDO’s mission is to promote the rights of children to a healthy, secure and value adding childhood. This is to be achieved by empowering communities to improve the quality of their lives thereby enabling them build a sustainable community with improved standards of living.
CEDO envisages a nation where absolute poverty, poor health and rights abuse have been overcome and people live in Dignity.
CEDO-Uganda’s evidence-based Integrated Child-Development Model targets children in extremely poor conditions and, those working in hazardous or exploitative sectors, and ensuring they do not return to the workplace; and that all children and their caregivers have access to the full range of support they need to grow and improve their overall wellbeing.

Who We Are
CEDO-Uganda worked diligently, facilitating out-of-school young people, who were economically disadvantaged, to rekindle their self-esteem and confidence and, promoting their rights through innovative cultural activities, entertainment and life skills.

Through continuous SRHR advocacy, I acquireda lot of knowledge on SRHR concerns, referral methodologies of the young people during outreaches, conducting health talksand sexuality information with the targeted key population,and spread SRHR information to both my fellow young people and adults.
